The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage, accommodating a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments to maximize storage area and flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints preventing back and side sway, and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety. The unit requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, enabling easy assembly with snap-in components. The shelving has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Particle board ships in two pieces.
