The SC Preferred 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing flexible configuration, and the open design provides four-side access. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that prevents back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. It ensures easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing expansion by joining units for more stability with less construction effort than bolting starter units together. Shelving decking must be ordered separately.
