The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The rack features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing flexible storage configurations. Easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts for structural stability and eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while sprinkler water easily passes through the racks to improve fire safety and reduce insurance risks.
