The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It features a maximum storage weight capacity of 1000 lbs. per level and offers durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility, while sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, facilitating sprinkler water flow for enhanced fire safety. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing for expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. Particle board components ship in two pieces.
