The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, enhancing fire safety. The shelving unit is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing for quick expansion and enhanced stability when joining units. The particle board ships in two pieces.
