The SC Preferred™ 3-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and durable, adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing flexible configuration. The system features easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and ensures sprinkler water passes throughout racks easily, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. The particle board ships in two pieces.
