The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The shelving unit is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, along with double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments for secure structural support and stability. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel, and the shelves include smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing flexible four-side access and seamless expansion by joining units with enhanced stability.
