The SC Preferred 2 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with no decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving system is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. It includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Decking must be ordered separately.
