The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, making it durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various storage needs, with the open design providing four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid deck.
