The SC Preferred™ 2 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring durable and adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components instead. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, facilitating sprinkler water passage throughout racks to improve fire safety and potentially lower insurance premiums.
