The SC Preferred™ 2 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It features a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level and durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout racks for improved fire safety. The shelving system has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Dimensions and specifications accommodate various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility space. Warranty information is provided according to standard terms.
