The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with a sturdy roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The assembly is easy, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components, making expansion simple and more stable than bolting starter units together. The shelving has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces.
