The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight capacity of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments for enhanced flexibility. The unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The open design allows four-side access while the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, with snap-in components. The sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking ships in two pieces and provides a cost-effective, solid surface.
