The SC Preferred™ 2 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelving design offers four-side access and adjustable shelves at 1" increments for flexibility. The assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The shelves include smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, providing a durable and cost-effective solid surface.
