The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, providing a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. The durable, adaptable storage unit features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility space. Its open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, while the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips due to snap-in components. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, including front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and feature sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard for solid, cost-effective decking.
