The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments and an open design that allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, providing a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. The decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and particle board shelves ship in two pieces. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, with dimensions and heights available in various options to accommodate different facility areas.
