The SC Preferred 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. It offers adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and features durable, adaptable storage for various facility areas with different heights, widths, and depths. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for vertical adjustment in 1" increments, and sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner post, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through, enhancing fire safety. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish.
