The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, offering durable and adaptable storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers. Double rivet button stud construction locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. The package includes open shelving with wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while sprinkler water passes throughout the racks to improve fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. Particle board ships in two pieces.
