The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage applications, featuring a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The open shelves provide four side access and adjustability in 1" increments for adaptability. The kit includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces. The shelving unit is assembled easily with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction secures the perimeter beams to the corner posts for structural stability, eliminating back and side sway. The entire unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish for durability and aesthetics.
