The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts via double rivet button stud construction, eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelf decking consists of sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard shipped in two pieces, finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
