The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable shelving features open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to prevent back and side sway, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back beams to prevent rotation, while the 5/8" thick precut particleboard wood decking ships in two pieces and offers a cost-effective solid surface with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, featuring snap-in components.
