The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Add-On with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. Compatible with various heights, widths, and depths, it accommodates nearly every area of retail, industrial, and commercial facilities. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing flexibility with four-side access. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments, finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. The package includes smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, shipped in two pieces, offering a cost-effective solid surface. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, with snap-in components that enable expansion by joining units with enhanced stability and less construction effort than bolting starter units together.
