The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It is durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths for nearly every facility area. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and expansion is simple by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched at 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides cost-effective solid decking, with the particleboard shipping in two pieces.
