The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments, finished with a chip resistant gray baked enamel. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily to improve fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
