The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing customization, and the unit offers easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T-posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability, and the shelving is equipped with sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking for cost-effective solid support. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and snap-in components simplify setup and expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction effort compared to bolting starter units together.
