The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with no decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility, and the unit offers four side access with an open design. Easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components instead. The sturdy roll-formed 14 GA steel framing includes 2" x 1-1/2" uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway.
