The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and allow four side access, providing maximum flexibility. The easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components instead. The unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking enables ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass easily, improving fire safety and lowering insurance premiums. Particle board ships in two pieces.
