The SC Preferred 3-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for versatile configuration. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The boltless design allows easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full loads. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through for improved fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
