The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for adaptability and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts, double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1" increments, and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass through for improved fire safety. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports prevents beam rotation under load, and the chip resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
