The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It offers various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and enables sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. Particle board ships in two pieces.
