The SC Preferred 5-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and is designed for adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility, and the assembly is easy with no bolts, nuts, or clips required. The shelving system features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts to prevent back and side sway, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and facilitates sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety. The starter unit accommodates various heights, widths, and depths, and the particle board ships in two pieces.
