The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking offers a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, constructed with sturdy roll-formed 14 gauge steel framing measuring 2" x 1" for the uprights, punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts with double rivet button studs to prevent back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility and includes wire decking which allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and ease of sprinkler water passage for fire safety compliance. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. The system is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
