The SC Preferred 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate deck measures 96"W x 24"D x 36"H and is designed to maximize storage area for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It features a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments, providing sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. The design allows four-side access with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measure 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and come in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving system offers easy expansion and stable joining of units with less construction than bolting starter units together.
