The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving starter with no decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It provides durable and adaptable storage for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring adjustable open shelves at 1" increments for flexibility. The shelving kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, constructed with a double rivet button stud method that locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a structurally secure joint and eliminate back and side sway. It has sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The open design allows four-side access and the shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips. Various heights, widths, and depths are available to fit nearly any area, and decking is sold separately.
