The SC Preferred 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. The unit features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. Easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup and allowing stable expansion by joining units without bolting two starter units together. The shelving system includes sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit comes with rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments, finished with a chip resistant gray baked enamel coating. The decking consists of sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
