The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with no decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments for customizable storage configurations. The shelving unit allows four-sided access due to its open design and offers easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components instead. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing, it provides maximum support with front-to-back supports preventing beams from rotating under load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. Decking is not included and must be ordered separately. Warranty terms apply.
