The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible storage configuration. The unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking provides a cost-effective solid surface and ships in two pieces. The shelving is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, available in various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area.
