The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, and the wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports prevents beam rotation under full load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
