The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments, along with wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while permitting sprinkler water to pass through easily for improved fire safety. Its open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the open design provides four side access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The particle board used in the package ships in two pieces.
