The SC Preferred 3 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with Laminate Deck measures 96" W x 24" D x 48" H and is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial storage applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, with roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white melamine laminate deck that is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and ships as particle board in two pieces. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Expansion is facilitated by securely joining units with less construction than bolting two starter units together. The shelving is constructed with double rivet button stud joints that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, providing structural security and eliminating back and side sway.
