The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments, durable roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability, while sturdy smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides cost-effective solid decking. This shelving system allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and enables easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together.
