The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components—no bolts, nuts, or clips required. The unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The add-on shelving uses smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard for cost-effective solid decking. Various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every area of a facility, and expansion is facilitated by joining units with greater stability and less construction effort than bolting starter units together.
