The SC Preferred 3-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for customizable configurations. The system allows easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design provides four side access for maximum flexibility, and expansion is simple by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. Constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing, it includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, while the sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides a cost-effective solid decking.
