The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing adaptable storage with various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts that are punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, along with sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces. The shelving features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The finish is a chip resistant gray baked enamel.
