The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments, and sturdy precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking shipped in two pieces. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, while the sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. It features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
