The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for structural security, and precut 5/8" thick chip-resistant gray baked enamel particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces. The shelving features an open design with four side access, adjustable open shelves at 1" increments for flexibility, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while double rivet button stud construction eliminates back and side sway.
