The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The starter unit includes sturdy 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and the chip resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. The package includes smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking shipped in two pieces. Assembly is easy without requiring bolts, nuts, or clips, and the open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility.
