The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility space. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs and features durable roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelving system includes open shelves adjustable at 1" increments and an open design that allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for easy setup. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and comes with a sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway.
