The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces. The open design allows access from all four sides, providing maximum flexibility. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway.
