The SC Preferred 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial environments, with various heights, widths, and depths available. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. The shelving features an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility, and open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments using snap-in components, eliminating the need for bolts, nuts, or clips for easy assembly. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments, and sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and the double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The shelves are finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. The wood decking consists of sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard, which ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
